Shintaro Koi Farm was started by Shousuke Saito around 45 years ago, originally producing metallic varieties. Shousuke fathered 3 sons, each of whom went their seperate ways. Masuru Saito spent some time working in Tokyo with his uncle as well as a short time working at Konishi Koi Farm in Hiroshima. On his return home to Mushigame he would help at Marusada Koi Farm during the summer. On the advice of his former schoolfriend, Toshio Sakai (Matsunosuke), Masuro Saito started breeding Sanke using Matsunosuke bloodline parents. In 2008 Shintaro Koi Farm spawned Sanke, Kohaku and Showa. |
