Marusei's Jumbo holding facility

Today was the 2nd day spent with the guys from Kolle Zoo - www.kolle-zoo.de.
I don't have time to detail the full day, a full blog of both days will follow on Friday afternoon, however I must give a few pics and brief mention of Marusei's facility where they hold their jumbo Koi to whet the appetite for forthcoming posts.
As you can see, a glorious morning, this just 10am.
All Koi circa 90cm.
This Ochiba Shigure was purchased, size 90cm! Very imposing! A potential best in variety/jumbo prize winner anywhere in the world. I think only 5 years old.
This Ginrin Ochiba Shigure also purchased, a mere 80cm!

I brought home an 80cm chagoi from Marusei this Winter. Not sure if BIG enough to have been in this facility with 90cm girls :)
