A 2nd day with 't Vingeling - 1st stop Marusei

Today was again spent with Johan and Aty from 't Vingeling - www.vingeling.nl - and our first stop of the day was Marusei, somewhere you can also read about here http://www.niigata-nishikigoi.com/node/692 and here http://www.niigata-nishikigoi.com/node/689.
Following the obligatory Marusei cup of coffee, or beer depending on time of day, Johan and Aty set about selecting some sansai, Yoshiyuki, the eldest son, on the right.
Below Yoshiyuki and Seitaro san netting Koi for Johan and Aty's perusal.
6 of the 12 sansai that were purchased.
By the entrance to the facility 2 of the staff were busy searching for holes in one of he seine nets, I'm not sure whether they had their hoods up as a disguise.
With business concluded at Marusei we headed back towards Ojiya and then our to Wakatochi to visit Hosokai Koi Farm.
