A day with Koicenter Tiel - 5th stop Marudo, 6th stop Hoshikin

From Miyatora we made a brief visit to Marudo before making our final visit of the day to Hoshikin by which time the weather had detoriorated rapidly and snow was falling heavily.
Below Hoshikin's main Koi house and, as you would expect, it contains lots of high quality red and white Koi.
As with the visits to Satoshi Tanaka - http://www.niigata-nishikigoi.com/node/682 - and Takahashi - http://www.niigata-nishikigoi.com/node/683 - the main purpose was to take a look at the tosai stocks. There are some very interesting Kohaku available of a good size, although it's not until April they will be sorted for shipping.
With confirmation to Hoshino san that an order will be placed for April that was the end of a very enjoyable Koi packed day.
