Masao Kato at the 2010 All Japan Show

Here are some pics of Masao Kato, owner of the 2010 All Japan Grand Champion.

The trophy was a bit much for Kato san to hold.

When presented with the flag though he grabbed it and posed very proudly, his name will go on it for the 3rd time, his previous victories coming in 1988 and 1991, he's had to wait a while for the 3rd one.

It's tradition to throw the winner in the air, despite his age and increasing frailty Masao Kato revelled in the moment.

He came over to look at the Koi this afternoon just as the show was packing up, the Koi co-operated perfectly.
