Day 3 - Benching day - early pics

I arrived at the station's taxi pick up point to be greeted with a queue of 30 people, yesterday there was just me!!  It was a cold 30 minute wait.

By the time I arrived Koi were already coming in.

The first of the 85cm+ Koi to be released, a Dainichi Showa, it won't challenge for GC.
