Yamakoshi Breeders

Yamakoshi encompasses the are that is known as the origin of Nishikigoi.
Recently it was known as Yamakoshi Village, in 2006 it became part of Nagaoka City.
There is a significant concentration of breeders in Yamakoshi so it has been sorted into the individual villages in what is now the district of Yamakoshi.
