Finally chance to continue my report on the Dainichi OB Kai exhibition which took place a couple of weeks ago in Tokyo, you can read the first parts at the following links:

All the Koi had been left in boxes overnight or on the tanks on the back of the trucks depending on the breeders' shipping preference.

Below Hisashi san and Nogami san unpacking some of the Marudo Koi.

Nisai Kohaku and Showa from Nogami.  The Showa above and below appealed to me, Nogami san pointing out that he's a Kohaku breeder first and foremost.

The doors opened at 10am and in no time many visitors were coming through the doors, well known Japanese hobbyists amongst them.

The display was one part of the event, there was also an contest involving customers Koi, more of that in a later post.
