Getting a little greener

Having shed their winter covering of snow the combination of warm weather and rain has started to bring the mountains to life with their first covering of greenery.
Both the deciduous trees and the plant life on the ground have started to spring to life as you can see by comparing the panoramic image below with the same one taken on 10th April.

I have not managed to make it to Niigata for my second ever visit this spring. Please keep the NTV video and pictures plus the blog coming as it's a regular source of great info on a very special place.
