The 2009 All Japan Wakagoi Show - a summary

Posted 31 Mar 2009 - 23:48 by Mark Gardner

Well, that's the end of the 2009 Wakagoi Show, even if I say so myself Niigata-Nishikigoi.com has the most complete coverage of the show anywhere, pictures and details of major winners, kokugyo winners, best in variety winners and sakura winners.

I have to say it was a great weekend although, having just spent over 8 hours getting home, it's not the easiest to reach location, certainly not from Niigata anyway.

Tosu is also not the most 'lively' location in the world, although myself and Gibbo found a nice little bar with great pizza, very reasonably priced at that!

Suffice to say, I'll be back next year!
