What no snow pictures?

Regular visitors to my blog over the years are possibly wondering where the snow pictures are that usually prolifically posted.  Let me assure you, it's not because of lack of snow!

Should the snow continue like it is at present then it will surely leave last year's record snowfall in it's tracks.

I can't recall the last time I saw blue sky in the mountains, every time I've visited the mountains have been enveloped in clouds of falling snow, today was no different.

The first picture below was taken on 29th December when I first arrived.  Mushigame behind a haze of snow.

This was a few days later on 3rd January.  If you look left of the ski slope you can just see some clouds rolling in.  Within minutes the valley was no longer visible.

Today trying to take any wide landscapes was a waste of time, visibility was almost nothing.  I did spot these rather mean looking icicles hanging above the doorway of Marusada's Koi house.

I love the way snow clings to the branches, amazing how it builds up.
